Hello everybody! I have a 360 and was wondering what years it was in F100 trucks. And what kind of Horse Power it has?

215 hp gross (160 kW) at 4400 rpm and 327 ft·lbf gross (443 N·m) at 2400 rpm
1968-1971 Trucks :-)
196 hp net (146 kW) at 4000 rpm and 327 ft·lbf net (443 N·m) at 2400 rpm
1972-1975 Trucks

 

The only other 360 Ford made was for the Edsel which were made in the very late 50s and very early 60s.

 

Thanks! I bought a motor a while back and I know it was out of a F100 camper special and it has 90,000km on it but I forget the year and was just wondering what truck they put 360's in. Cool...

 

Steve, I believe the years used was 1968-1976. The 360 replaced the 352 that was introduced to the truck in 1965.


Bear, You might be thinking of the 361 that was used in the Edsel only.

Same bore and stroke as the 360. Just like the FT 361 is too.
