I have an engine off an old ford 8n. Its a funk conversion to a 6 cylinder. I need a rebuild kit for it (Pistons, sleeves, seals, bearings, whatever comes in a rebuild kit). On both sides of the block, there is a piece of metel pressed onto the block that says "L141". On the right side (looking from the fan) it says either FERRO or FERRS. It also says 1HA-6015A on the same side. Does anyone know where I could get a rebuild kit and maybe a manual for this engine?? How can I tell if this engine is a ford???
Thanks,
brian
Try cliffordperformance.com You may want to give them a call for info on what motor you have they are very knowledgable. As far as buying a rebuild kit that is up to you. You could find rebuild kits anywhere. Jcwhitney, PAW, clifford, etc.. Good luck

Brian, go to www.ytmag.com, that's where the tractor guys hang out, someone on the Ford N board should be able to steer you the right way.
Good Luck
