It's fine, won't hurt a thing. Back when I had hubs, I would lock them in the month of nov and not lock them out untill spring. Sometimes in the winter they will freeze up and are hard to engage, leaving them locked, I was perpared for whatever. You have what I want for my next ranger, an 88 4x4. I want a reg-cab long bed with manual tranny and t-case with lock outs. My 04 was nice, but I miss the old school lock out hubs and manual t-case and I love the looks of the first generation rangers. Also want to pick up an 88 bronco II and have a matched set ha ha. I am serious however.
