why do you think it needs cleaning.??.mine does not show up on DTC's..only on the KOEO test...my tube is pinched off..i need to replace it soon

if the tube is plugged up with soot, how would that affect mileage on the truck?

the EBP sensor does not see any input with a clogged tube and therefore defaults to a lower fuel map since it thinks there is no load on the engine. lower fuel map mean you have to press go pedal further to provide the same amount of HP at a given RPM.

gotcha. Sounds like this cleaning is almost a preventative maint thing every year or so. Wonder what mine looks like, never been cleaned in the 80k ive drivin it, total 180 on the truck.
