door panels and dash plastics
are the door panels and dash plastics on a 92 f150 or perhaps any truck able to be somehow sanded down and re-painted.mines are all sun burnt and faded.plus i would like it to match the outside.and also i have one with a small crack right in the center of attention on the dash.is there any way to fix that.
i suppose some glue to fill it in then painted..is there a special kind of paint or process because it is plastic.

I'm not sure about the crack repair, but they do make a special paint for plastic and is available in most aftermarket parts catalogs and automotive paint suppliers. One brand I recall is called SEM I believe.

It looks like they have a product at Autobody Depot for plastic repair, but their site is real slow right now, so you'll need to check on this.
