1997 F350, rear sliding window busted, just the slider part. Rest of glass still good. Possible to replace just the sliding part or do I need a whole new window. I was lookin at it and not really sure how to get a new one in there.
I just recently fixed the rear window in my '89, but I had the opposite problem. The glass directly behind my head was broken. Yes, it's possible to change the sliding glass, but you'll need to take the entire window assembly out to do it. I can go into more detail about HOW to change it, but suffice it to say, once you have the rear window out, the way to change your slider will be pretty self-explanatory.
