i have a 95 f150 i just put a 6 in lift on top of a 3 in. body lift with 39 in. tires and if i get it over 35-40 mph thee front of the truck shaks side too side it feals like. ANY HELP ??????????
its fine the first two days of driven it it was fine i had it up around 55-60 now at around 40 if i hit any size bump in the road it will bounce all over!!!!
But did you setup the alignment or have it done on a rack professionally? A lift that big won't maintain a proper alignment without some adjustment. My .02 cents.
I'm not sure but it sounds like what is known as death wobble. Commonly found in lifted rigs with BIG tires. There are many possibilities:
Believe it or not---tire balance
Wheel bearings
Alignment
Shocks
That big of a lift completely changes the steering geometry and there are quite a few inherent problems with it. Steering stabilizers will help but only masks the problem. Things need to be in better than average condition for it all to work well.
