You guy are great! This is all starting to make more sense. I took my intake off this weekend and tapped it for the boost gauge. While I had it off I "attempted" to clean the boots inside and out with Dawn ("because it cuts the grease fast"
) and hot water. Didn't exactly work out so I quit until I could get to Wally World for some Simple Green. I'm assuimg Simple Green will do the job. I did inspect them for cracks and didn't find anything that jumped out at me. I'll be sure to look a little closer tomorrow when I pull them.
BD - good idea. Mike lives about 45 minutes from me, not too far. If he offers I'd take him up on it, but I'm not one to invite myself.

I agree about inviting yourself for someones help. Where is Mike when your not asking for his help. Guess he is taking the bad guys off the street.
