special coolant liquid?
I notice an wet patch under my '03 PSD 6.0 shortly after an oil change(don't think it's related). The liquid was clear to honey colored with no smell, looked like approximately 1 quart. The only fluid I found low was the coolant, about 1 quart as well. it there some special coolant I need to top this off with, some X-ford mechanic at Wal-Mart told me there was... But he also told me that I needed to replace coolant twice a year ! Liquid was coming from right rear of engine..

It might be as simple as the ac "defrosting". I experience this often, especially in warm weather. The ac is located at the right rear side in the engine compartment. I also belive this is mentioned in the original manual. First time I saw this, I was thinking that there is a leak, but the fluid was only pure melting water. As njstevens says, both oil and coolant fluid both smell and also have much color. I belive that the "clear to honey" color is coming from the water collecting dirt on its way down in the engine compartment (no offence), combined with whatever is on the ground where it hits.
