the best i've seen is 106.95 for vin "F" (7 yr 70,000 mile waranty) and 65.95 for vin "M"
I'm not sure what vin he has but 106 doesnt sound bad with that waranty but didn't know if anyone had found better price
What would it involve to rebuild?
"We do three types of work here- Good, Quick, and Cheap. You can have any two of them."
If money being tight is an issue go to the salvage yard and roll the dice. You may end up with a genuine Ford part that has thousands and thousands of miles left in it. Don't forget to flush your system too.

believe it or not but this is still one of my top choices unless I am going all out! go to a yard and pull like 2 or 3. rebuild one and if you screw up move to the next. you're only out a few bucks... still cheaper than buying a brand new one. and this way you have a spare if something happens.
i am in the middle of fabbing some bracketry in my PSD to get one of those old skool canned ham saginaw pumps in my truck. i have used them for years on my offroad rigs and they have proven themselves time and time again. in fact i just bought a beefed up, tuned, completely brand new canned ham from Sean at Performance Offroad Systems to complement my full hydro system and he says they are all you would ever need for a system like that. in fact he said that he could build it push more pressure but it would blow the seals in the ram and cause other problems. i'll let you know what i come up with if you are interested!
I would be interested in knowing how your bracketry turns out to fit a saginaw pump in your PSD. I have been looking to this on my 97 F-350 PSD as I have a Mile Marker winch that I plan to mount on it and need something better than the OEM Ford pump. I know the gas Econoline vans used the Saginaw pump and I've read where people take the bracket and pump from one to use on their truck. Not sure if the Econoline vans with the PSD use the Saginaw type pump as well. Anyone know for sure?
