Well new to me @ least. Just got a 06 f250 crew fx4 Lariet. After
much debate I moved to the PSD from a 07 F150 4x4 SC6 in fabtech
all suspension lift. 20" procomps on 37 parnellie's. Truck is great but there
is a bit of play on the steering, more than I like. I know someone knoes what is the best way to fix this. Will post pics as soon as I take them.
check out the ball-joints and tie rod ends, both upper and lower, and possibly wheel bearings too. Steering stabilizer is another cheap fix. Congrats on the truck and welcome to the site!
Have some small things left to do. Tint the windows , upgrade the stock
stereo-speakers and maybe a x-cal tuner from Spartan . Highly regarded
here from what I've seen . As long as it doesn't void the warranty.
Had for less than a week but wouldn't want to go back to my F150 and that's
saying alot cause I really liked that truck!!!
Welcome to the Superduty club. Keep in mind that these trucks are heavier and made to pull/haul bigger loads so the steering is different than in a 150. It's a little looser by design. Kind of a dampening effect for heavy loads. You'll get used to it. I can't stand driving my wifes 150. It feels like if I sneeze I'll change 2 lanes.
