Battery Light
Battery light comes off and on
I have changed both batteries
I have changed the altenator
verified batteries are charged and the altenator shows charging at 14.35.
any idea why the light will come off and on?

On my 99 a couple of months, my battery light was intermittly flashing. My voltage was also good.. The problem ended being one of the two small wires that come off the top of the alternator, and down about 1 & 1/2" from the connector, was rubbing on the aluminum housing edge and rubbed a very small amount of insulation off and it was shorting to ground.. I had to use a magifyer glass to see the copper. Added some protection and pulled the wire back abit.. good ever since.. These two wires should have been about 1" longer from the factory..
