Flex brake line/diff vent hose
I recently had a rear flex brake line made up of braided steel. I was surprised to notice the improved pedal feel (braided doesn't expand). Now I'll have to get busy and do the front.
Does anyone have suggestions for running the diff. vent hose? I need to run it high to keep it out of water. Also did Ford use any kind of filter on the end of this hose?

I don't know if your vehicles have to be inspected but not all braded brake lines are DOT approved You may want to check! As far as your vent line you can use vaccume or fuel line and run it anywhere you want most people I know use a universal inline fuel filter on it for a filter(cheap & easy to come by).

I don't have anything over the end of my vent hose but I do keep a close eye on it. In the summer it doesn't take long for the mud wasp to find it and plug it up. The next thing you know you got seals leaking.
