Spark Plug Wires

I'm having a hard time finding GOOD spark plug wires for my 300. Any suggestions? Perhaps there is a set of V8 wires one can buy which has the correct lengths and boots for a 300 I6?

Look for Jeep 4.0L inline 6 sets. You're only other option is going with a universal V8 set that you can trim before installing the one end.

I really like the Crane Fireball wires I bought online a few months ago. This and an Accel performance dist. cap for my 300 I-6 was less than $50. Bought them from wrenchead.com or carparts.com, can't remember which.

1. Jeep wires: Do they utilize "post"-type distributor terminals (like Ford's)?

2. Does the Accel distributor cap use "post"-type terminals, and have brass sockets? What size are the Crane wires,(i.e., 8mm, 9mm, etc.) and how much did they set you back?

I bought a set of Jacobs wires a few years back, $80.00, and their terminals rusted inside the brass sockets of the distributor cap!

I need replacement both items, and I'd like to have the system figured out beforehand.

IIRC, Summit has the Ford Motorsports 9mm wires in a 6cyl kit. Not exactly sure if its a crimp-your-own kinda deal, but it'll definitely come with 6 wires and a coil wire.

Picked up a nice set of Autolites or Bosch plug wires (they are bright orange/red) and a Brass dist cap and rotor from Autozone. Cap and rotor was $20.00. With my MSD TFI-IV coil and a large gap on the plugs she runs pretty clean.
