upfitter switch?
hey fellas-- does anybody know where the upfitter switches i see mentioned here are, im trying to hook up a set of reverse lights to my reciever hitch. also how to wire them so i can turn them on to hook up my treailer without leaving it in reverse? thanks Britt btw its a 00 f-150 sd 4x4

You don't have them brother, They first appeared in the 2005 series
They can be retro fitted to the 01_04 series but hard to do in a 00 truck
You do have 4 customer pass through wires going from the engine bay into the cabin
They are white, green, blue, and red above the brake booster on the motor side, and in behind the master fuse panel inside the cabin...they are only pass through wires not connected to anything.... you can make one hot with a fused wire over to the battery and then find the same color inside and you have a hot to add you own switch to.
