I'm hoping to hear from some of you that are using the Brandmotion I=pod interface system or any other type of system for that matter and get some opinions on whether its worth spending the dough. The brandmotion system looks great but it is a little pricey considering that I found a Ford head unit replacement on E-bay with mp3, 6 stacker and sub control for 200.00. I'm thinking I may just stick with the mp3 discs. Any thoughts good or bad are muchly appreciated.

I don't have any experience with the Brandmotion interface, but if you don't mind changing the head unit, you can get a nice Alpine unit and iPod cable for around the same price as the unit you mentioned on ebay. I have an Alpine and ipod cable, and LOVE it. I just bought an 04 F150 STX 4x4 because I totaled my 05 Ranger Edge, and I can't wait to get my Alpine stereo working again!

That e-bay unit...... Be SURE it's compatable or can be programmed for your truck.

Well at this point, I hope to god it does because its on its way. I did quite a bit of research before i ordered it so I dont think i'll have any problems. The biggest pain is the fact that it has foctory dvd in the truck so I have to stay with a ford head unit. Hopefully this works, but will I have to get it programed at Ford?
