I want a supercharger. Anyways, i'm trying to convince my self that it would be worth the 5K... Does it increase the value of the truck at all? Also I know a few guys have them, is it really worth the money? Would you go with a roush or and aftermarket one? I found a roush one on ebay for $4500 which isn't to bad unless it's a spoof. Also what other mod do you need?
No they will not increase the value of the truck, if anything it might decrease the value since the increased wear of drivetrain components. I think it is worth the money esp. if you are looking for a nice power increase. I recommend any centrifugal one, Powerdyne, Vortech, Pocharger, less stress on drive train components than a screw type. It would be cheaper to buy the blower and get all the parts yourself, but it is easier to order a kit that has everything included to get going. Make sure the one on Ebay has everything included to get going.
