Hey guys, need some help with yet another worthless "whats it worth" thread.
Here's the deal. I've got a 97 1ton 4x4 reg cab. 460, auto. Its an xlt. This truck has 158xxx on it but looks like it rolled off the showroom floor!
Now, I know that trucks bring diff prices in different parts of the country and thats ok. I'm just looking for and idea of how to price it. I looked at nada and kelley blue book and they cant make up their minds either.
I appreciate any input. Here's a pic if it helps....
I'll give you $300 cash for it right now Seriously though, that's a nice looking truck, and the single cab F350's don't seem to be all that common (especially in good shape like that one). Without even looking at the book values, I'd guess $6-7K range would be a fair price.
Ehh $6-7k sounds a little steep... I'd say if you found someone who REALLY wanted that exact truck you might be able to milk them for $5-6k. So remember to list it a bit higher than what it's worth to leave room for negotiation
Thanks guys! Upon some further research I found the avg retail to be 8375 for my area. It gets better though. I spent most of the day looking and found 10 pages of current ads for identical trucks within a 500mi radius. The best part.... they were all priced above 10k. Looks like mine should look pretty attractive if priced in the 8-9k range!
Wow that sounds like way too much... I paid $8k for my truck and it only had 92k miles, was in perfect shape, and cost me a few extra bucks because of it's rarity as an F150 Crew Cab Centurion. I'm also out in CA so theres no rust on these vehicles either. I always thought I paid just about the max that someone could/would pay for a gasser from this generation of trucks (if not a bit more than that)...
whew thats a nice looking truck I would have also said about 7ish no surprise they are going over in your area trucks are getting ridiculous, but nice truck.
