First large snow fall up here in MN. Took the super duty out on tha back roads today just to see what it could do. All I have to say is I am impressed, I have never driven a truck that handled this well in the snow. I drove a ford explorer last winter before I bought my super duty. And it did fine, but in deep snow you would get pulled all over the place. With the super duty I just put the nose where I wanted to go and she went, even stopped a couple of times in the deep snow and as soon as I hit the gas it took right off now problems at all. Has anybody else had good snow experiances with there super duty?
Yeah, these trucks do very well in snow. I have yet to get stuck and I'm running only 35" BF Goodrich All-Terrains. The only "problem" I have is all the other people asking me for a tow.
It's snowing here in NY, 50 miles north of NYC. I have the original Firestone steeltex tires, and I have never gotten stuck. Great truck in the snow !!!
patiently waiting for the snow here in new hampshire.... cant wait to try the new 305"s in the snow, I have always had good luck with these tires on every other truck I have had. IM sure it will be like night and day compared to the conti-craps!!!
6 inches and freezing rain and the ol' SD went like a champ. Some punk in a all wheel drive Subaru WRX STi thought he could race me before the plows came out
That little __________ aint got nothin on a FX4 SD! I proudly placed as much slush and snow on his windshield as my front tires would allow.
BTW- no compaints about Toyo open country M/T 305/70/16
Well good for y'all. But you can keep that snow up there! When you're out there with your plows and coats and boots and hats, I'll be out here on my patio in shorts and a t-shirt drinking a beer and bbqing! Enjoy though!
well i guess I am waiting for snow too, but I better not hold my breathe...
Id like to try the SD out in some snow, but it only snows every couple years for a day maybe down here in south TX...
Drove my jeep in the snow when I lived in NY, lots of fun

Dunlop Rover RVXT's "E" load range, dealer put them on wouldn't have been my first choice, but they work great on everything except wet grass, go figure as soon as I tear the grass up an get in the mud they work great, it's just the stupid grass I can't get traction on.
