Okay, i'll make this question short 'cuz i have a tendancy for dragging out questions...
I have a 1993 4.9L inline six F-150. I opened my air-box to clean out the filter - this is my first time doing it - and as i removed the large filter i saw a smaller one underneath it attatched to the side of the cold air box. Attatched to it is a hose of some sort that is connected to the engine manifold - possibly for the PVC valve?? My question(s) is this...
What is it?
It's VERY VERY dirty so... Where can i find a replacement?
And how do i replace it?
I looked through my Chilton's Ford manual and it says nothing about this filter.
Technically, the name most of the filter companies give it is the "crankcase air filter," but yeah, it's the same thing. Any parts store should have it, esp. if they carry FRAM filters.
