I just recently (and intermittemtly) experience stalling in my Sport Trac. When I take off at idle to very low RPM and let off the gas (Automtic Trans), it stalls. It does this once a month or so. No Codes and it runs fine at all other times. Just had the Fuel Filter replaced a couple of months ago (thinking this was the problem) to no avail.

Ideas?

 

When was the last tuneup? Suspect a gummed up Idle control valve, which may not be working. Easy to test, just unplug it and try to duplicate the problem. If it still does it, the problem lies elsewhere.
