Need help on 87 back brakes
Does anyone have a link to the dissasembly of my back brakes. I got some new shoes for her, got half way done with one side, discovered after lookin at my old shoes (which are still at 25%), that F***tozone, gave me the wrong ones. I took them back and just got my money back, but I never could get the stupid top splined bolt thingy that anchors the top springs off. Is there a trick to getting it off that I just never figured out?

Do you have the spring removal tool?
The top of the spring should be held on by tension/friction.
Taking off the shoe hold down spring might be hard if the stud spins, you may have to hold stud in the back while you depress and turn the spring.
