Tire size question?

Hi I am the owner of a 2001 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 lariat with 265/70/R17 tires on it and I lifted it 2" what is the largest tire size that will fit with no rubbing??? I know 275's will fit before any lift I want to go with 285/70-R17 so before I spend $1000 on new tires I would like to see if anyone has done this before!

285/70/17's-- I have seen some people claim 295's will work but not with everyone plus that is a really odd size anyway.

yes, 285's will fit fine.

If you lifted it 2" already, then you should be able to fit 305's. 285's have more than enough room on my stock truck...

Thanks I like to have a little room so when I go offroad their won't be any damage to my truck so I will go with the 285's
