For those of you that knew about him/Robert Craig (Evel) Knievel 1938- Nov 30, 2007.
For those that don`t know of him he was famous for attempting and sometimes succeeding impossible motorcycle jumps (possibly including the Grand Canyon).

On edit, It wasn`t the Grand Canyon but may have been the Snake River in Ohio?
Anyone know if he ever made it?
one of the best role models i ever had... we'll miss him!! its easy to say that the FMX riders of today do way crazier stuff, and in a way they do. but its done on a built bike with the best of suspension components, and a pile of gear and money. evil did it on a streetbike that was prehistoric to today's standards!!!
