Clutch help!

I'm hoping someone here can help me with this. I have an '84 F150, 300 strait 6, with a 4spd granny gear, 4x4, hydraulic clutch. My clutch has started slipping badly, not starting, but when I'm already moving. I think part of this is that I have an opening in the bottom of the bellhousing where I can see the flywheel, I know that mud and oil and carp like that has been getting in there, especially four-wheeling. I have a new clutch (11in), but I need help getting it in. I'm 17, never done this, ahve a chiltons manual, but its very vauge. I may have access to air tools if I get lucky. For the most part I would be doing the job with jacks and kackstands. I have 33" tires and a small lift, so I have some room under there. If anyone knows how to do this, and easy way to do it, advice, or ANYTHING that may help, please respond or e-mail me at wrcguy02(No Email Addresses In Posts!).
Thank You,
Eric

is the clutch in your truck a 11' clutch? if not then you will also have to buy a flywheel.
as for the job. it can be done with jack stands, a ratchet, a floorjack(or tranny jack if you have one), and a lot of grunting. since it is 4-wheel drive, remove the transfer case from the tranny first. I learned this the hard way. after that just support the tranny with the jack and unbolt it from the engine. Be carefull if using just a floor jack. have a buddy under there with you to balance the tranny to keep it from falling on you. (they hurt) after you have it loose, just drop the jack and roll it out. then you are right there at the clutch. just remove the pressure plate and clutch disk.
if you currently have a 11' clutch, then you will not have to remove the flywheel.
just another thought. while you are there it will be worth your time to replace the rear main seal.
hope this helps
Doc

I'm not sure whats in there now, I know Ford flywheels are tapped for both 10" and 11" clutches. I plan on pulling the flywheel anyway to have it resurfaced. I already know that my rear main seal is leaking oil(part if the reason I think the clutch is slipping) so I know I have to replace that.
Thanks
Eric
