I've got a friend that recently installed a Wheelskins steering wheel cover on a later model Ford F350 and it looks really good. Anyone out there ever bought and installed a Wheelskin cover for their 73-79 F-series truck? I've got the small grip original steering wheel and judging from Wheelskins website, I don't think they make one for our trucks based on the dimensions they post. If anyone is familiar with this brand and application, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have used a Wheelskins cover on my Grand Cherokee and an old Datsun 280Z race car I had. The quality was great.
Measure the circumference around the rim and around the thickness of the rim to make sure you get the right one. If needed, you can use friction tape around the stock rim to thicken it up some if it is a little too thin to fit right.
