What down leg boosters would loose in cfm, if thats even true. Cause all holley 750 double pumpers have them, will far outweigh on the street in what you will get in throttle responce. I just had them put in my 750 vac 2nd Holley and I can tell you from "first hand" experience I will never go back. It's like this, Running the same roads I have for years, I come up to the r.r. trax or any other land mark I always have and I no longer have to put my foot in it like used to. I love them !!!
Oh I agree. Didn't mean to make it sound like the CFM lose a bad thing. The Holleys on the 428CJs had the down leg bosters and you lost 45 CFM but the throttle response was unreal (780 to 735 CFM).
750 holley vac secondaries. model 3310-2. the only way to go on a mild 460. vac secondaries canbe adjusted to only open under heavy loads and not waste gas under normal loads.
I like my vac sec 750 holley. I love my 800 double pumper. I run the 750 in the winter because it still has a choke. 30 over crane 4x4 cam L and L headers edelbrock rpm performer 68 429 heads stock 75 460. recurved the duraspark made a ton of improvement runs 91 octane with no pinging.
