fuel pump whining

fuel pump whining

Hi, my father-in-laws 91 F-150's fuel pumps seem to be getting louder, is this just a sign of wear? Anything to worry about?

I have reused (in emergency ) old pumps that sounded so loud you could almost feel it . And they lasted for years . I've had quite ones dies on me. who know just wear and tear.
Hey x ammount gal a week for 16 years is allot of gas pumped

my aftermarket crap fuel pump whined from the first day. I wasn't happy, but oh well. It works for now.

Thanks guys, I guess the nice thing about these trucks is if one pump dies you always have another one!
