Starter won't quit
97 Ford F250 .When try to start truck the starter stays running after the truck starts. I can unhook the battery cable to make it stop or keep turning the key off and on and it will finally stop. Here is what I have done: Replace the selenoid on the firewall. Replaced the ignition switch under the dash. Still have the dash tore apart. I can take the key cylinder out and put a screwdriver in and start the truck and it does the same thing. sticks. What am I missing here?

When it sticks, pull the small wire off the solenoid under the hood(red/blue). This will verify if you are getting an unwanted signal to energize the solenoid, or the solenoid contacts are actually welding themselves inside. Some of the new solenoids are not very high quality, and there has been more than one person on here put a new solenoid on, and have this problem.
