I was in my user CP and noticed some of you have given me positive rep points, THANKS! But my question is, what are they and how do you give them? I searched FAQ and the forum in general didn't come up with anything. What am I missing? Closest I got was 'rate a thread'.

They say to give rep points if someone is helpful but I notice most give them for several reasons. Look to the top right of a post you are reading and look for silver scales click on it and it will guide you trhough to give someone rep points

Regarding rep ponits...If you look at each and every post, you will notice at the top right, that there is a set of scales...If you click on the icon, a box will open up requesting your approval or disapproval of the post. You can also give a reason why. You can also report a bad post using the red yield sign with the exclamation.
One more piece of info. The little green squares next to your post count is called reputation. If you have allot of rep points given to you, then little green squares suddenly appear next to your post count.
It's a nice thing to give reputation points to folks on the forums, if they make helpfull, humorous, and/or just darned good posts.
