I have a 2006 4x4 SuperCrew Lariat with 18" Tires and wheels and I can swear that this truck came from the factory with a leveling kit. It sits pretty nice and level. Is this possible or am I imagining this?
Why do I need a leveling kit to put bigger tires on? if the truck sits fine now with stock BFG Tires, and I buy BFG tires that are bigger, shouldnt the truck sit just like it does now only higher?
I have anways been confused by this. All 4 tires now are the same size so I should be able to change that size and as long as all 4 stay the same the truck should sit the same. Hmmmm the things my logic thinks through...

It is for appearance and fitting larger front tires on than would normally fit with out. Yes you can go bigger at factory height, but you can go even bigger at a higher height. Not sure why you mentioned 4 tires being the same height, I think you are confused.
Thanks guys, I haven't actually measured the space from the top of the tire to the fender well opening. My truck sits decently nice, but I wouldn't mind it a little higher all around when it's time for tires and maybe go up a size in tires.

Because you don't wan't your tires rubbing when you turn or hit a bump.
Okay I finally measured the clearance from the top of the tire to the top of the fender arch, and it is like 2 inches plus less on the front. I did measure the rear blocks while I was rotating my tires this weekend, and found that they are 2 inch blocks. So what would I need to level the truck, 2.5 inch front leveler kit? Also I'm assuming I'll need an alignment? Is it more difficult to align with the level kit up front? If I need to align it, I'll just wait till it's time to replace my tires. Thanks in advance.
