son-in-laws truck and will be my engine. he was a Mech. Engineer from NMSU and also spent 4 yrs in the Society of auto. engineers and built 3 baja buggies for the western universities off road comp. lives .25 mile away

IMO, today's editors don't hold a candle to the editors of 10 years ago.....when tech was a big thing, and most expensive bolt ons for brand new Jeeps was not. Though I still subscribe, lol.

Yea thats what it is, an M37... still has the old military lugs for tires.. Its been painted and it has a big water tank on it and hose/reels/controls for wildland firefighting... I can't imagine these things ever went about 45 MPH
