Got an early gift from the wife and well hopefully soon install my newly improve heads in my 65 F100. A fellow firefighter of mine builds performance heads on the side. He recently did a 5 angle valve job; installed chrome molley 184 intake and 154 exhuast valves in my heads, did some internal smoothing and porting. Don't really understand all this size stuff; but bigger is better in this area I was told.
Been told it will really wake up my motor, looking forward to better response of the throttle.
Truck is in my gallery; I built it back in 05. I didn't get the heads built beyond stock with the engine performance, Its all about the mighty $$.
Will keep ya update once back up and running...

That is one good looking Truck. I hope mine looks that good when it is finished. What did you use for the bed floor? I know you have the spray in bedliner in there as you described. I used diamond plate on mine. I will be going to paint soon with the bed and will have the in side of the bed done with spray in bedliner as you did. The Ford oval is a really nice touch. I won't be copying your idea there though. I am sure that without the right connections that would be more costly, and as you say it is all about money. Or should I say the lack there of.
Thanks guys for your comments; its not a trailor queen; but store in doors; I show it locally; and if it gets wet; oh well; I just have to wash it. I must admit I'm better at detailing them than tuning them etc. The bed liner was sprayed by a fellow firefighter who own a Speedliner bed spray shop it cost me $400, $300 for spray & $100 for oval. The bed floor was switch to a solid steel, by some P/O so spraying it was easy. We did do a 04 F150 prior to my truck with rib bed metal; but mine was easier. I built this truck after driving it for 3 years with a 300 & c-4, sold my old Harley and put additional 5K into it so far (total 12K). I have currently 3 F100's and have recently sold 2; so I'm always driving something prior to a 80's model; Ford trucks are my passion & hobbie; don't golf, hunt or fish. So its easy to focus what little off time on cleaning it; Family & Church first then Slicks etc.
