Did you ever take the time to check the backspacing on your stock wheels? How does it compare to these wheels?

Take a wheel off of the truck and lay it face down on the ground. Get a straight edge and lay it across the wheel lip where the tire bead seals. Then measure from the wheel flange (that sits against the wheel hub) up to the straight edge. This measurement is the wheel offset or backspacing.

Stock backspacing is 4.5" if I recall. Basically, your wheels will be recessed into the fenderwell 1/2" on each side.

Basically he's saying your rims would be 1/2 inch closer to your engine, assuming 5 inch BS wheels and stock is 4.5 inches.

If those assumptions are correct (I don't know the stock spacing myself either), the issue to look for would be the wheel either rubbing some suspension member or possible the fender well when you fully turn the wheels to one side or the other.
