10,000mi and all is well
Just hit the 10K mark and haven't had a single issue with my truck. Still getting 13mpg around town. No worse then my 06 F-150 which also got 13mpg but weighed half as much as the F-250. Going to the dealer for oil&filters next week and I don't have anything to bitch to them about.

Congrats Nipperdog. The attitude of your remarks sounds like you are pretty happy with your 08. I just passed the 14,000 mile mark and have not had any troubles either. I am seeing 15.8 - 16.2 on my miles per gallon, which I am not elated about but appears to be getting better as mileage increases.
Will take the ole girl in next week also for diesel filters and overall check up.
