Too bad most of the content wasn't true

Our Canadian Friend Mike went to the US for one major reason.

1) He thought people would believe what he says.

The thing about a MMoore film is that you have to know enough about the subject to tell what is fact and what he is making up, exaggerating, spinning, whatever.

And so if you know enough to figure that all out, then you know enough about the subject SO THAT YOU DON'T NEED M MOORE'S MOVIE TO INFORM YOU.

I watch movies to be entertained not disgusted. A movie with a name like that gets ignored right away.

Fahrenheit 911 was good? Well, I'll refrain from commenting on that ... Oh, guess I just did.

Unfortunately most movies today aren't worth watching, but there are some good ones out there. It's a good thing that I have a lot of DVDs.

I saw the title of this thread and thought that Tim (Thorseshoeing) went missing or something...

the Idea that Moore is not showing the whole picture about our health care system is silly. He could make another movie about the treatment/nontreatment our poor disabled vets are getting. My 87 year old father n law is still jumping through hoops and having to travel hundreds of miles to fill out forums and getting the run around while trying to get some disability checks before he dies. The guy was at Iwo jima, he did his duty, and now he's struggling to pay for meds. In his condition he should be at home in his easy chair, not running up and down the interstate

a few exceptions do not make the rule.

there are thousands of vets that receive excellent treatment without any hassle through the va, including me.

mr. moore does not show the whole picture, he takes a few selected exceptional cases and presents them as the normal routine.

I have not seen Sicko yet, but I will look for it.

I did see Fahrenheit 911 in a local theater. It was the only movie I have seen in recent years where the audience burst into applause at the end.
