Super Chips
I have one on my truck but when i floor it and go for a good 30 seconds the check engine light comes on, is this natural or could there be something wrong? Also if im in the middle setting and then turn it down to the lower setting that also makes the check engine light come on any help on this or opions would be nice thanks

Get a DP Tuner and sell the Superchip, that'll cure your problem. When I used a Superchip programer I also had the SES light pop on when I 'gassed' it in 'tow performance' and 'high performance' mode. After installing my DP Tuner I no longer get the SES light when I'm in the throtle PLUS the truck performs MUCH better...just my .02

never had any problems with my programmer, I have the micro-max Superchip. Pulling the codes is fairly simple.....just plug it in and follow the prompts on-screen! I am curious about the DP Tuner....but not enough to spend money on another tuner.

I still use my superchip to read codes and hold down my paperwork in my shop.

the check engine light comes on with me too...then goes off, suggesting its the overboost. Does you light go off while your driving after a few minutes, if so then its your overboost. i was about to get the DP then my rear pinion seal decided to go out so i had to replace that, three u-joints and got a new parking brake assembly for 300 and change so the chip is on hold yet again.
Now that's funny...

sorry i havnt replied to any of yall been out at work but let me see here yes im up here in polk county (florida) and yea the light shuts off a few minutes after while im driving and about this dp tuner or whatever how is it installed and whats the price on these things ?

Man, you just don't know. This DP tuner thing is the cat's rear end. Like mentioned, try to find someone close that has one and go for a ride. That is sales. I didn't have that and went through a TS chip which is a good chip in it's own right. I couldn't believe the difference when I went DP. Just do a search, DPTuner. It Googles up just fine.
BTW, that SES error is most likely HPO above/below desired/expected.
