Fuel Leak

I know you all get tired of hearing of fuel leaks but I have another question. 96 psd with puddles in front and rear of valley pan. Have looked for leak til I'm blue in the face, cleaned valley pan and watched for it to start but can't find it in action. Fuel filter vaccum sensor has already been plugged and can't see any drips from fuel pump. Only thing that has the slightest inclination of a leak is the fuel heater fitting on the side of filter housing. Anyone have any advice on this? Considering jerking the whole filter housing out and replacing all the seals, anyone have a list of parts needed for this?

Thank You

Fuel leaks in the valley are difficult but do-able. Start with a super clean valley.Soak up all the fluid in the pockets in the valley and use lots of light & a mirror. Remove the heat shield between the FP and filter housing, it just pops off, to get a better look at the FP and 3 small fuel lines. That's the first suspect, It has a weep hole that's darn near impossible to see. After that the yellow drain lever is next IMO, O rings will fix that one. The filter housing has been known to crack or rot out from the inside if it was neglected. Good luck.
