power steering pump upgrade
has anyone here or know of anyone who has ditched these crappy plastic pumps (i think they are called something like OTC11 or TC11 or something like that) and swapped in an old canned ham (saginaw pump)? i have used sag pumps for years on my bronco and on my old F250 with great success! i've run one dry (literally) before and it still pumped better than whats on my PSD now! i have a pile of pumps so getting the bracket and pulley will be my biggest challenge.

The reseal kits for those things are cheap and they're easy to fix if you have a pulley puller. Those pumps have been used on tons of vehicles and you can get them in the boneyard for like $10.

there are some upgrades i cant seem to find it right now it was a pump and box combo i belive agr makes it. i think its like $1200 though big time pricey!! or leave the stocker like that and add a agr rockram too it?? i have 285/75 on my trucks and the stocker on my truck works great, i just drilled the high pressure port out a bit on mine to flow more oil i cant remember what size bit i used ill try to find out where i found that info.
