That must be an old article with 2 red and 2 black wires. LOL
I am going only from memory, but I think they come with a red, green, yellow, and black wire.
red= power
black= ground
yellow= dash lights
green= contact on the - side of the coil, firing the tach
If yellow isn't right, use what ever color the other three aren't.

ok, maybe that page wasn't so great after all lol.
and he didn't say what to do with the two black wires either. at least he showed how to use black tape to make the wires 'disappear'.

A bit of unnessecary news on tacks. I installed a tack on my 64 4WD W/300 six so i could get the right amount of RPM to order the cam i wanted to put in it and the coil was so weak the truck would hardly run. unhooked it and put it on my 390. anyway, if the tack is new which mine was there are instructions in the box on how to. at least mine had them. good luck.
