Nerf Bar Brackets
Ok now for the next problem, this time it has to do with 03 f350.
I need to find replacement brackets for the Ford Nerf Bars. I have talked to local body shops and accessories stores, they are willing to sell me a whole new set which is not what I want to do.
Does anyone know where I can get replacement brackets for the Ford nerf bars?
or
Does someone have some brackets that they are will to let go of for a reasonable price?

I dont know it seems like they always want to sell the whole deal. I just need 2 new pads and they tell me I need to buy the whole setup. I think it is time for some aftermarket bars and go from there. You might want to check with some sponsors or someplace like four wheel parts maybe they would work with you.

What happened to your brackets? I just broke two on my '02 (large rock while off road), took them off, took them to the garage, cleaned them and welded them back together. They are cast aluminum and I can only guess what the dealer would want if they were even available. If yours are just broke check for a welder in your area, if you can't find one that won't rape you PM me maybe I can help.

They don't sell them seperately. As for the step pads, same ripoff deal, I just used 3M emblem adhesive on them after I had mine sandblasted and powder coated for $70. Much cheaper than the $400+ they want for new ones.

I broke mine a while back on a curb and just happened to have a buddy who had a set he took off his dually and they worked fine.
I would try a junk yard for a nerf bar off a wrecked truck and just swap the brackets.
My truck had 2 different kinds of brackets one on one side one on the other, but they will interchange.

just an idea, but maybe a machine shop or the like can fab up a bracket that will work for you for much cheaper than a new set of nerf bars
although i think the factory ford bars are a little gaudy, so maybe you shoudl switch them out at this opportunity
