Problem with WOT
I need help trying to find out what causes my truck to bog @ WOT. What have ya'll with similar setups done to keep the bog away? Changed metering rods on the carb? jets? pumpshot? 
I've been playing with the timing, set the pumpshot lever on my Edelbrock 500cfm carb to the top hole, checked for vaccume leaks, and timed and timed it countless times to 10*BTDC and played with the timing from there. 
Any ideas what to set the timing to?
My truck......Always something to be done.......
1985 4x4 Ford F-150
Clifford Header and Intake.
Edelbrock 500cfm 4bbl
Crane Blueracer 270* cam
3inch pipe Yed into 2.5" duels
