OD Wont shift out with button

Hey Guys, My dad has a 02 superduty and you cant take it out of overdrive with the button and no light is on. I heard something about a wire breaking in the column. I tired taking it apart but what do you use to take the ignition out? That seams to be the only thing holding me up. Thanks

Check out my instructions in post #11 in the following thread.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/567156-beeper.html

In the second picture I point to the little button that you have to depress in order to remove the ignition. You can actually do it without removing the bottom cover from the steering column if you want to save a couple steps (there is a hole in the plastic that gives access to the button).

Ok i took it all apart and there was no broke wires. Anywhere else i can check. Before it went out it was acting eiratic. I would hit the button and the light would flash and it wouldnt go out of OD, Then i would hit a few more times and it would. R there any fuses that control the OD button?
