erratic idling
i have an '88 f-150 with a 300 I-6. fequently when driving, it will hold idle at whatever rpm i am running. like on the interstate running 2500 rpm, i will get off an exit and it stays at 2500rpm, but it has no power when this happens. you cant let the clutch out or it will stall. the throttle body is clean. I replaced the IAC motor and checked the vacuum lines. but since it doesn't do it every time, I am really at a loss. any ideas would be helpful.
