does anyone know if there is a supplier of complete harness for65 f100. sense the truck has had several owner doing there own thing i thought i would just replace the whole thing.
Found company who makes reproduction harnesses for 64-67 Ford F100 trucks. Unfortunately, have not been able to find anyone who makes repo. of the 'dash harness'. Replaced wiring harness's for my 65 and very pleased w/ the quality and duplication of the original. Same connectors and wire codes, matter of unpluging the old and plug in the new.
I put a Ron Francis one on a 81 I had. easy to install Hardest part was figuring out where I wanted to put the fuse block. It was larger than the original.

As original, there was no separate dash harness. It was included in the main loom. The only separate wiring harnesses were the taillight loom, engine gauge feed loom, the alternator loom and the headlamp loom.
The looms used for 1965/68 Mustangs (they have been reproduced) can be substituted for the truck looms, since the underhood parts are the same. Same alternator & regulator, starter relay, coil, oil/water temp senders, horns, etc. The resistor wire from coil to ignition switch is the same.
The headlamp looms used on 65/73 Mustangs uses the same plugs as 1961/72 pickups. More splicing: The Mustang taillamp loom has the same plugs as the trucks do. Mustang looms must be spliced into the trucks wiring harness.
Splicing wires behind the dash: Mustangs used the same gauge hookups, same ignition switch (1965/67), same headlight switch plug, etc. The Mustang dash loom has also been reproduced.

Purchased thru Mr. Mustang, Inc. this was couple years ago, not sure if they are still around. I purchased the Alernator, Headlamp, taillamp harnesses. The headlamp, and tail lamp ran about $100 each, and the alternator $50. They offer additional harnesses, fuel, dome. I was very satisfied with the quality so I purchased an extra set for my other 65, did not want to take the chance supplier would go to the way-side like many others. If interested I can take pic's of the extra harnesses and try posting in my gallery tomorrow. Don't think they have a web site anymore, could not purchase online had to contact them by telephone. Again, it's for 64-67 Ford truck F100's, Order line: 1-800-543-9195, Information line: 937-275-7439, and Fax: 937-275-4346. If able to contact, they would probably fax price sheet, and if concerned about the quality may want to purchase 1 and check it out. Opps, rambling again, honestly not affiliated with them, and don't get a commission.
