hey carb guru's, i have a opportunity to buy a holley carb,600-650cfm, 4bbl, some numbers on it says 1850-2. from the little research i've done tells me that this is a 4160 series. can anyone else help my out here?? it'll be going on my '83 f150, 351 mild build, c6 auto. it'll be sitting on an edlebrock Air Gap intake manifold. thanks for all you can tell me.
i sort of gathered that much from the amount of research i did... more wondering/concerned about the ford A/T kickdown, if it was standard on this model of carb, or if it can be added on if it doesn't have it... thanks.
It is a 600cfm universal carb. It is a 4160. The Ford kickdown did not come on these carbs. There is a kit available from Holley that changes the front throttleshaft to include the kickdown. It's a good carb, I sold thousands of them when I sold performance parts years ago.
