Some steering problem..
My 2000 7.3l 4x4 excursion is wandering....does not go straight.
Hate to fix all the time when driving, specially now when here is coming snow.
Some knowhow where to look:steering gear, balljoints???
(i quess this is asked before, but im new member, owned car 0,5 years)

More than likely play in the steering box. On top of the box there is a 5/8 nut to loosen and a 3/16 Allen head setscrew to tighten. Only go 1/4 turn at a time and testdrive as you don't want to overtighten and bind up your steering.
Thats not to say that you don't have other issues with your front end components but the Ford steering box is known to be crap and loosen up over time.
Hope it's this simple fix...
