Running board question

Can some one tell my if the running boards bolt directly to the mounts or are there rubber gaskets between them and is there any rubber welting between where they bolt to the rear fenders. I'm trying to get the running board brackets bolted up to the frame. My problem being one of those darksiders Ford panel on Chev frame

I do not know about the mounts (never had them off), but mine has a strip of rubber between the rear fender and the running board. On the front fender there is a thick rubber washer between the fender and the running board.

Also, as mentioned above..there is a rubber skirt between the cab and the running board (to hide the gap).

Thanks for your replies, I do have the rubber skirt and the rubber spacer that goes at the front of the running board, I wasn't sure about the back. I thought that there should be something there but I don't recall seeing any there when I disassembled the truck years ago, should have taken pictures, hind sight is a wonderfull thing. I've put off this task for awhile now, I bought smooth running boards from Smooth Fabrications that were supposed to be a direct bolt on but they don't fit worth a damn, they look real good out of the box but require a bit of surgery. I've finally got up enough nerve to start slicing and dicing, if I'd known all this before hand I'd probably tried making my own in the first place, lesson learned. The problem could be uniqely my own,it would have been nice to have another panel close by to check it out. Well it's back out to the shop to do some more surgery to the other side, check back in this evening.

John
