track width question for 6" lift

hi all, i finally installed my lift yesterday. i went with the RCD 4"-6" kit... it is set on the 4" setting for now, and then when i burn up my 33's, im gonna set it to 6" and get the 35's. however, i have a question about the front track width. i chose the RCD kit for a few reasons, but one was that it claimed to have no affect on the front track width.... but mine definately does !!! and i dont like it the best. what kits ou there really dont affect the front width? i think it looks a little funny with the front tires sitting out that far.... im running 325x60x18 right now, so maybe when i get the 35x12.5 it wont be quite as noticable.

That must be why aftermarket wheels are required. You must need different backspacing to correct. I am going with the Rancho 4" because it says you can still use stock wheels, even though I'm not. All the 6" kits I checked on require aftermarket wheels and that may be why.

aftermarket wheels are required mainly for clearances with the knuckle when you go with the 6" kit..... i did think about getting different backspacing on the wheels, but that means that rotating tires isnt so quick, and would require unmounting and remounting. the only thing that i can think of which changes the width is the steering knuckle..... so i wonder why they make them without retaining the factory track width?
