Cool Help!!! Going Crazy!!!!!!!!

04 F250 FTX reg cab long bed. Buddy of mine had rear spring packs from a 04 F350 dually laying around the shop and i was looking for just a little more lift in the rear, just to get rid of the sag in the rear. Well after a half of day changing them out and driving it a one or two noticed that it does not sit level. And after driving it about two weeks, making one trip from PA to MD about 250 miles one way, i figure it would level itself out but it hasn't. Left front is down 1/4 inch and left rear 3/8 inch. and now after today i noticed a noise in the front end. Can someone out there plz help me and steer me in the right directions, i'm going crazy!!!!!!!

if my estimation is correct those spring packs are exactly the same but maybe the ones laying around have been more fatigued and thats why they are drooping more?
Its the difference in the spacer blocks that make the 350's seem taller in the back ....(approx 2" compared to 4" blocks) they use the same springs....

Maybe Rosie O'donnell drove it before you?

The front end sag may well be caused by the rear springs. The twist is carrying through the frame to the front and that's why there is more sage in the rear than the front.

Did it sit level before the rear spring swap? Did you measure it before? Hopefully you did.

Assuming it sat level before, those springs have to be the problem. Pull them out and put them side by side on a flat surface and compare the arch. A lot of work I know. If they appear to be arched identically, then swap them side to side and reinstall. See if the sag goes to the right side. If so, bad spring.

Your frame may be bent/tweisted. The frame rails may not be parallel.

Okay, todays update. The truck went to the dealer and they told me that there was nothing broken and nothing that needed to be replaced. They gave me a name of a spring shop in the next town and advised me to take it up there and have them look at it. Dealership is thinking that the spring shop will be able to be a shim in that side spring pack. So went up there and they told me to bring it back Monday Morning and they will remove that side spring pack and re-arch it 1 1/8 of inch and that will level the truck out. They stated that because of the rear spring being weaker then the other side it will bring the front of the truck down too on the same side. So let me know what ya'll think that this. And I will advise ya'll on how it looks after Monday and maybe even get a chance to post a picture. my next project will be exhaust system but thats another thread. Thanks all
